At what age can I start feeding my flock All Flock? What should I feed a mixed age flock?Updated 17 days ago

When it comes to a flock with younger and old feathered friends, you will want to choose your feed based on the youngest members of your flock.

  • From hatch: chickens, ducks and geese

  • 8+ weeks: turkeys and pheasants

This likely means feeding Fresh Pecks All Flock to your whole flock as your little ones grow big and strong. However, you will want to supplement your older layer hens with free-choice oyster shells for supplemental calcium. Opt for Little Pecks Starter-Grower if your babies are being raised separately from the adults in your flock. Little Pecks has extra fat and protein your little ones will enjoy that adults do not need.
